Cover Talk: Warrior Witch

The cover for the last book in the Malediction Trilogy was released on December 3rd, and boy, is it lovely.

We’re back to the holding-magical-item thing that Stolen Songbird had going on (and Hidden Huntress skipped). And that tagline? Yes! I’m guessing that’s good ol’ Trollus in the background, but whatever could that book be, hmmm…Blurb and other spoilers under the cut!

Warrior Witch is expected to release on May 3rd, 2016.

Sometimes, one must become the unimaginable

The witch is dead, the curse is broken, and the trolls are free of their mountain prison. Cécile and Tristan have accomplished all it was foretold they would, but their greatest challenge remains: defeating the evil they have unleashed. Because the trolls are not the only creatures now free to walk the world.

Enclosed within the safety of Trianon’s walls, Cécile and Tristan scramble for a way to protect the people of the Isle and liberate the trolls from their tyrant king. But Cécile and Tristan both have debts, and they will be forced to pay them at a cost far greater than they had ever imagined.

Thanks, blurb, for telling us literally nothing. Is the evil they unleashed just the king, or something more sinister? I can’t even remember if there was any mention of that in Hidden Huntress. I’m terrible. Anyway, my personal theory (and I’m sure everyone in the world has come to the same conclusion) is that the ‘true name’ for their species is fey. Because they’re fey. Think about it. It’s very likely. And when it totally happens, I’ll be here yelling that I called it from book one.
