January Releases to Look Out For

  1. January 5:
    Passenger by Alexandra Bracken. First in a series about time travel from The Darkest Minds author.
    The Impostor Queen by Sarah Fine. YA fantasy about a future queen who is exiled when her magic fails her.
    Truthwitch by Susan Dennard. YA fantasy about a witch who can sense lies from the Something Strange and Deadly author.
    Worlds of Ink and Shadow by Lena Coakley. Historical fiction about the Brontë family’s young lives.
  2. January 12:
    Bookishly Ever After by Isabel Bandeira. YA contemporary about a girl who mimics her favourite on-page characters to win over a boy.
    Other Broken Things by Christa Desir. Contemporary about an alcoholic teen.
  3. January 19:
    Sword and Verse by Kathy MacMillan. Fantasy about a kingdom where reading is illegal.
  4. January 26th:
    The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman. Fantasy/steampunk about a Regency-era demon hunter.
    The Mystery of Hollow Places by Rebecca Podos. Mystery/thriller about a girl who goes looking for her missing father.
    Night Study by Maria V. Snyder. Second book in the Soulfinders series.
